thanks for the backup @tavster  either way it’s my only time to get away, I managed to snag 2 nights before the bonvoy(age) so saved like 50,000 on that, the activities are only done in morning or night when it’s cooler I’m thinking of napping and pool (maybe spa) in the hot part of day and yes I’ve also been to Cle in Jan @Dan

You won't be able to do anything outdoors in the morning. Not sure which hotel has an indoors pool, there is no way to be in an outdoors one in August.

Worse than Dubai proper? I was in Dubai in August, and while it was hot, we were able to do outside activities.

Anyone have prices for the hotel kosher breakfast options?
I'm visiting on the way back from the Maldives in August and am also looking into hotels that have kosher breakfast. Does anyone have any experience with any hotels having good kosher breakfast? It's not very clear online which hotels have.

Also I have seen that besides chabad there is also a minyan and meals on Shabbos in the St Regis on the palm. Has anyone stayed there over Shabbos that can share their experience??

In general does anyone have any recommendations for hotels not for Shabbos? Was thinking about the WA on the palm but it seems really far from all the kosher food. Was also thinking the JW? Anyone have any recommendations??

We stayed at The Ritz on Jumeirah beach, and yes the WA is prob a 15 20 min to get out of the palm

It makes no sense to stay on the Palm unless you're with kids and the whole trip revolves around Atlantis.

Imagine staying in a hotel where the elevator to the lobby takes 15 minutes?

The Palm is exclusive as a residence because it's quiet and secluded. The last thing a tourist wants.

As for the WA on the Palm, it's pretty nice. I spent a shabbos there and they were very accommodating

Anyone know if there are storage lockers for luggage in DXB? If yes, where, and cost?

For those wondering, PH was very accommodating. I was able to prepare eggs and vegetables with their equipment they only use for Jews, I was also able to turn on the fire. They even had Israeli storage milk. The head chef Rodrigo is from Argentina, and used to work in a hotel there with a kosher cuisine. He is very knowledgeable.

What's my best option for direct flight? From EWR?  If I have to, I'll go to JFK for J.
Have MR and UR.

December a good time to go?

I've always wondered about this. So many hotels claim they have kosher pots/pans, but I've never felt comfortable enough to trust that.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

+1
I always bring my own pans. But I would likely trust a hotel unpacking a brand new pan/pot in front of me - several hotels have offered to do that for me

Food that isn't spicy (majority of the dish would have to דבר חריף,  not just taste hot) is Kosher even if cooked in non kosher pans as long as they weren't used in the past 24h.

סתם כלים אינם בני יומם so even without the goy saying anything you can assume the Pot wasn't used in the past 24h.
