Interesting. My wife's Biz card was flagged before we activated it. I called and they just wanted to verify that she was really the one who applied. Hung up the phone and was then able to activate it online.

Actually not diverting at all. The topic began with the 30k promo and then turned to some people getting FR'd when signing up for this promo. I was presenting something else that was happening to some who signed up for this promo

Had you read further in the thread, you would have seen everyone discussing how it was extended. Furthermore, just click on the links he provided which show the 30k offer still up...

Interestingly enough, that link edgeman brought was posted on none other than....July 14th, the same day we all found out about it here. Yes, the offer was extended and we all knew about it 7 days ago...

Has anyone gotten the 30k for this offer yet?

My wife (who had spg cards before) got 10k for opening (before even spending the 1k).

I saw people reporting on FT that the 10k will post initially and the the remaining 20k will post within 10-12 weeks. Just curious what others other getting so far (especially those who signed up for cards for the first time)

It just means the date since she joined the AMEX family of credit cards.

However... I did read somewhere that Amex reports any Amex card (even new ones) as if it was opened the year when the oldest Amex card was opened.
Checked my Quizzle report and that didn't seem to be true, but there were other inaccuracies as well...

On Boarding area, someone is saying that the 30.000 bonus pts. are BESIDES the regular 10.000.
10.000 for opening the card, plus 30.000 for spending $1000 within 3 months.
