From what I've heard, initially yes, then they stopped when they saw that DL wasnt respecting their end of the deal

I believe they do.
Only the lounge reciprocity wasn't implemented afaik
Other issue is that most agents don't know what to give / not give.
On my recent domestic DL flight, my TP was automatically recognized by DL as Diamond, so it gave me sky priority etc

You got DL comfort+ seating as a TP?

Comfort plus is its own fare class
Space is just an upsold seat

They were trying to charge for both space and preferred seating
skymiles number lsaved to reservation  but LY seems can't see actual status
TA support refused to allow because "he is a Delta diamond not a skymiles diamond"
Round 2 said since it is ticketed already TA support cant help
Round 1 one the phone said the department who deals with recognizing status for partners is closed now and call between some random hours on specific days
Phone round 2 claimed space seats is only awarded at the gate
Rounds 1-2 via classic Whatsapp support closed the chats 1 because it went over a weekend without an agent response and the second for "timing out "
3rd WhatsApp CS wanted a picture of the skymiles card but finally assigned seats in SPACE however warned that wasn't actually reflected anywhere so will lose them if there is an aircraft swap  (and obviously can't change seats within the cabin online)
Additionally he said PAX would need proof of status at check in to get the second checked bag
