AOL tells me my account was hacked

I signed up for an aol email account yesterday. Today it says I can't log in until I call. When I call they tell me someone hacked into my account and try to sell me antivirus and go on and on on how I need it and that Avast isn't good.
I found it really funny.

Yes yesterday,  and today it didn't let me log on,  seems its there way of selling their antivirus

I still remember logging on by dialing through the local library access number and viewing screens of just text.
I was probably 7 or 8.  Good times.

When 14.4 was considered 'high speed'.  I remember upgrading from 1200-2400-5600, and then think 14.4.

Just to answer OPs question, if someone opened an AOL ain't in my name I'd also suspect fraud :P
