Sounds like there will be an extra charge for this service.
Amazon is not charging extra for the new service, so members of the company's popular Prime service will be able to buy products on Friday and get them by Sunday for free. The service also applies to non-Prime members, who can get free five to eight-day shipping on orders of at least $35 (up from $25 previously).
Amazon announced it will start Sunday delivery in NY and LA next week at no additional charge. They will expand to Dallas, New Orleans and Phoenix next year. So now with amazon Prime's 2 day shipping, if you order stuff on Friday, you'll get it Sunday 😊http://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/2013/11/11/amazon-sunday-delivery-usps/3479055/
Awesome. We as yidden have an issue with ordering things Friday for Saturday delivery.I was nichshel a few times though....
It actually sounds like there won't...http://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/2013/11/11/amazon-sunday-delivery-usps/3479055/says:
I assume you mean only if you specifically change the setting from two day to one day?I assume it's obvious that ordering two day shipping on Thursday is not a problem.
The title to this thread should be changed.
And the USPS wants to stop Saturday delivery...Amazon really rescued USPS. Them and ebay.
USPS will get killed on this deal.
Like there's anything left to kill.....
They cut their losses by a HUGE amount this year. They'll start charging a little more and they'll be on their feet. You'll start paying for all their lavish retirements.
