Honestly this time I was planning on actually canceling, but I could sense that the rep would offer the free month so I just kept her on the phone sounding uncertain till she did.
I started off saying that I thought I'd be using the subscriptions more often, but I haven't really been using some of the products. I asked if they were planning on getting new products, because although I like product X, I haven't found that Product Y and Z are worth the monthly fee. Then I threw in that maybe I should just cancel.
I was silent a lot of the time to see if she would say something like "ok I'll be happy to cancel for you" but she just wasn't pushing for that, so I switched angles and sounded disappointed to be canceling and tried to switch one of the products. The rep said I could only switch one in 6 months, so I said "oh" -- Paaaauuuusssee-- and that's when she said she could offer me a free month if I decided to keep my current bundle.
