How do you have a seat on all of them consecutively? Don't you have to cancel one to book the other? I have a flight at 11:00 and would love to book a later one just to be safe, but I don't wanna cancel it in case it takes off before 3...

I've done that a few times when flying with aa, and had them put me on 2-3 bookings at the same time should one be canceled or one flight depart first. You find a rep who would be willing to do it then you can have a bigger availability.
