UA changes flight time

I booked a domestic award ticket on UA that I don't need anymore. When I went into my account to check the reservation they advised of a time change for the flight. Can I cancel the reservation with no penalty and get all of my miles deposited back into my account?

You should be able to. Call United.
If the time change is not a significant time you may have to HUCA.

Why is it when it comes to a flight change everyone always has a question and create a new thread.

But i will be nice today. How long was the change? Usually you might have to play HUCA, but should be able to get it done. Just make up some story how it doesnt work anymore.

If the time change is nominal, it will be hard to get that done.  If it's longer (>2 hrs) you'll have an easier time getting the miles back...
