Anyone with luck booking multiple rooms on points for a larger family? I have 3 young kids and am trying to figure out what to do. Site is showing king room availability but I can't check if there are two rooms or one (points in Chase currently) and even if I get 2 king rooms, how do I work out family logistics? (Need rooms next to each other and ideally more beds). Paid rates are insane for rooms that can accommodate 5 guests. Thanks!

If your staying at a hotel nearby does Baha Mar allow you to access Knosh?

I looked thru many pages in this post but i still have a bunch of questions.
we are staying in an airbnb near the airport.
1. how easy is it to get around? to the beaches, to Baha Mar? seems taxis are quite expensive.
2. what is a good beach to go to? is there a charge? are there bathrooms? will it be packed (25th - 27th of december)
3. do we need to change money? any specific place?
4. is is worth getting snorkeling equipment at any of the beaches? if yes, which one?
5. if im not staying in a hotel, so cant use the pool, water park... what are good things to do? (group of women)

thank you so much.
its def time for an updated wiki and some more trip reports

Are they strict at the GH baha mar with second guest name added to reservation without primary globalist available at check in?
Same question. Is there any issue booking a family member with points from my Explorist account, and adding them as a second guest?

1) you want a car or use taxi {bussing is random}
2) plenty of free access beaches {no bathrooms}
3) USD is accepted in 99% of bahamas at a 1:1 exchange
4) you will need to rent them on day of and depends on what you want to do (sharks/reefs/....)
5) Atlantis has day pass (they are pricy , might be worth getting a room in one of the cheap hotels on atlantis allowing you to access's the resort {1} you will get a room to change in {2} you can use the resort the day of check in and the day of check out {3} price.

don’t expect much. No resort or service fees on points stays for any Hyatt
Is this confirmed? In my email confirmation for an award stay it says there is a $65 resort fee. Is that just their standard email template?

I have a base room booked with points at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar. I would like to upgrade to a suite with cash. How do I go about it. I spoke to front desk they're giving me  a $800 upgrade price per night,while the suite to book online is even less than $800. It's ludicrous. I'm trying to reason w them that the difference in cash rate between room and suite is $300   so I should be able to upgrade for $300. They seem very unworkable. I need a confirmed suite before I go. Any ideas?

A globalist booked me as a GOH. Do I request an upgrade now or at check-in?

Our kids convinced my wife and me to go away for a vacation (we rarely do that, especially not without the kids). So we're booked 4 nights at the Baha Mar. Now I need to plan some activities. Any ideas? Looking for activities that 1. are not too crazy packed 2. not full of people in bathing suits 3. my wife could do wearing a shvimkeit.
TIA
