You only have to worry about it if you have a Visa Business card, such as the Chase Ink. But now that the 1% back on Staples purchases ($200 and more) is over, you don't have to worry about it now. They have other merchants that you can get a statement credit for purchases. Go to https://www.visasavingsedge.com and register your card and you can see the merchants that participate in it.

Too late for prior purchases, but you can still sign up for it now. Make sure that you sign up every card on the account so that each card will get the discount.

is there any way to activate cards without speaking to CS agent. i have a lot of cards from the 201.95 deal in names of my wife and daughters and didn't get activation codes.

Should be able to. But why wouldn't you just use your Ink directly?

Are most people cashing these out with MO's. If so, i do not see the big benefit to ordering online, if you anyway have to bundle up and go outside to cash them out. Maybe i'm just spoiled because i have three GE that are in the same shopping centers as staples/office max.
To me the hassle of ordering, waiting (ordered 1/21, expected delivery 2/04), and then the activating, seems not worth it. Unless i'm missing something. Or just luck that i can do 1 stop MS.

If u can do it in one stop ur right but not everyone could. Also sometimes there is sales on line but that's not the main reason.

There are other things to do with these without leaving home to buy MO. Swipe it yourself if you have a good enough rate. Pay someone with Evolve. ...

If you need it for flights, it is worth it. If you want to sell it, may not be worth your time.
