+1 FME experience though writing $0 income made it hard. Each HUCA was unsuccessful until I brought up the business banking account I had.

Update:
Now, after my second HUCA which was an hour long and spoke to 4 people (including an escalated supervisor and  "manager" who claimed there was no one above her she could transfer me to), I'm giving up. Each person said the same thing. Even though I haven't had a pull since December, I have 7 Chase cards since July and many more with other banks. They want to see longer payment history. With the manager, I was able to bring up the business banking accounts I have, my investment accounts and the type of business I'm in (it's real, by the way), but she still finished up by saying the same thing. Too many cards, to many pulls, they want history. They also knew I called in earlier today for my first HUCA, so I honestly can't think calling in again would help at all.
It took ONE year for me to sign my wife up with Chase CC because she didn't have history. 6 months for Amex. The first card I got her was cap1, and 6 months after that it was good. Chase, however, were VERY strict until one year later.

If I create multiple businesses (and get a Tax ID number for each), will Chase approve multiple cards of the same type?  Assume I plan to apply for all under my SSN.

First of all, NEVER EVER spend an hour on the phone with a recon rep. After 2 minutes speaking with a rep and she does not want to approve you HUCA, rinse and repeat.

Also, writing $0 business income for a business card will not get you anywhere in life.

For now, they take down notes.. So if you reconsidered let's say the IB before, tell them now when they pick up that you wanna recon the IP.

Good luck!

In the past I've done the 2 min HUCAs very often, so this time I wanted to try the escalation, escalation route. But yeah, that didn't work either.
It's funny bc with $0 income, I got approved in the past and now I can't.

They were definitely looking at the fact that I have 3 apps sent in today, so not sure that asking about a diff cc than I asked about before will help. But I'll try... Thanks :)

Was just saying that the other card is not noted yet so you might have luck finding a nice rep.

I applied for a ink bold for my wife and was denied, they said same thing they don't see too long of a history and she already had a freedom and sapphire preferred, and they can't approve more than 2 cards with so little history etc.
I kept calling till I got them to close the sapphire to approve the ink

Wow, interesting. Okay, I'll keep trying. HUCA #3 failed.

They said that they can't extend me anymore credit
So I said don't give me more credit, just transfer my existing credit
Btw they also noted my account cause all the reps said the same line and done said we see you called already, and it still worked

Right, I used that line too. I offered to close 3 cards and lower my overall credit line with them to get a new one approved lol.
Good to know that they referenced the previous calls and still approved it. I guess it really is who you speak to.

I the past I've never had luck getting instant approvals with Chase, so I just applied for the IB, reconed, then applied for the IP etc. So by the first card they didn't see all the apps.
As long as it's one day, all the pulls will be consolidated.
The advantage of a 3BM is really only for instant approvals.

Yeah, I agree that probably would have been smarter.

Recon 4 was promising at first. Tried talking just about IC even though she mentioned all 3. She took all the biz info down again and reviewed but came back negative again bc of the aggressive credit applications and 7 cards in the past year.
