What's the price structure for that? Can I get a brochure please? :D
For now it's custom quote.
People email me their needs and I give a quote with a money-back guarantee that so far nobody has requested.

People who miss their flights with Dan, get wifi in the airport.

All complaints are to be forwarded to noreply@dd.com. ;D

And indirect routing thrown in as a bonus.

You mean rerouted to a location, in which they will no longer worry about the refund...

Wifi in the airport isn't exciting, it's wi-fi in the flight that I'm excited about!

(i wasn't able to switch bec. of other logistics)

People say they can beat the rates, but the convenience of having 1.99% flat for all consumer cards is very nice.
I am paying $8/month for the virtual terminal though.

You're right about the rates, IME the rates promised were not the effective rates I got. Meaning I might have actually gotten the rate but they hit me with other fees or surcharges.

I'd say $8 for VT is not much with their rates.

It would be a hassle, especially if you have to start figuring out which cards are personal/business or rewards/non-rewards.

A very stupid question: if I request this costco processing to state "travel...." On the statement of the cc used to pay me, will they be covered by their cc travel insurance such as amex, etc?

Why a stupid question?

It all depends on what Amex considers "travel expenses". I'm sure if you call Amex they'll tell you what's required. Whatever the loshon they say, have the charge as such.

even if it's covered by travel insurance, a) you could be dealing with chargbacks or whatever AMEX does with the service provider on those insured trips b)vehu haikar: trip canceled due to program violations are definitely not covered...

dan,
they will change your agreement after a year (or several months?)
so just be aware.
not that i doubt you are one to look it over.  i'm sure you'll be aware.
in any case, i no longer can get the 1.99 on all cards w/ costco, i'm paying close to 3 for cards like the biz cc w/ rewards :)
and i have no way of knowing.
just keep negotiating...again, i'm sure you will!

I got much better rates with flagship merchant services. I'm doing the interchange rate which is a percentage over the actual percent that visa or mastercard charge. They started me out at .25% and I called today and got it lowered to .20% (and it sounded like if I call again in a few months they'll lower me again. I only charge over the phone and tt comes out to be a drop more than costco on some rewards cards but cheaper on some and reawrds cards and cheaper on all non rewards cards by a significant amount, specially on debit cards. The charge per transaction is 17 cents.

No sign up fee, no cancellation fee, no set up charge for the terminal.  I had a monthly minimum of 20$ but when I called today they removed it completely. There was a monthly fee of 6.50 which got lowered today to 5$ and there's a 9$ monthly fee for the virtual terminal (which would have been cheaper had I not needed to have the ability to run reoccurring payments). They also told me that if I call firstdata (which owns the terminal), they could probably lower it. (they usually use authorize.net but I chose first data cuz they do free reoccurring payments)

Overall, every time I call them they're awesome, and I was amazed how easily they lowered my rates and fees today. I think they also have the fastest set up in the business which is why I went with them in the first place.
They also got rated number 1 by toptenreviews.com (which I'm not really sure is worth much)
If you have any other questions about them feel free to ask. (and with that I feel like I sound like I work for them)

You'd think with 7 stars under your name you'd know how to use google by now. But here's the link for you anyways http://www.flagshipmerchantservices.com/

If flagship would have been written with a capital letter, it would be more obvious.
