Is there a place in Israel similar to REI? If someone were to need say, thermals for a trip to iceland in the winter, where would they go?

Any camping/soldier goods store
In Jerusalem there is one in central station 3rd floor
One by davidka square one in talpiot another in malcha mall etc
Recommend calling again as some have been supplying soldiers etc
Additionally there are multiple branches of Columbia around although I don't know if they would have in stock

Yes they make flat extension cords but curious if they made this design.

Most israeli outlets are recessed slightly...

Tara brand with a Badatz is in all supermarkets that sell Tara milk products. Comes sliced in 200gr packages.
The blue company (probably what @Moshe Green saw, I forget the name) that has a Rubin on some products is a bit harder to find, but they have Parmesan in some other forms (shredded, balls). Double-check the hechsher every time.

Most supermarkets. (Sorry if this is not helpful.) Not always in stock, but not a rare product.
I saw it Erev Shabbos in Maayan 2000 top of Sanhedria Murchevet; Thursday in Zol Dafna by the Mir.

What neighborhood? Roll cakes are sold in the fridges of Nechama and Angel (gasp!) bakeries, though which varieties they stock will vary.

Try these two branches of Angel (don't know the hechsher), though any large bakery should have roll cakes (maybe not vanilla/vanilla).



If you go to Geulah, your chances of finding one increase between the branches of Nechama, Shipon, Gerlitz, and maybe Hadar Geulah will have.

Nechama's branch in Beis Yisroel has whole roll cakes with vanilla and vanilla cream - one thin layer of chocolate, though - in stock. They also have sliced roll cake in the bottom of the fridge without the layer of chocolate.
