« on: December 17, 2014, 02:14:50 AM »
Looks like TD introduced a cobranded card for US residents!

http://www.tdbank.com/personalcreditcard/aeroplan.html

Earn 25,000 bonus miles when you spend $1,000 on net purchases in the first three billing cycles after account opening1
Earn 2X Aeroplan Miles per $1 spent on Air Canada net purchases1
Earn 1 Aeroplan Mile per $1 spent on all other net purchases1
Annual fee waived for first year, then $95 each year thereafter1
Your Aeroplan Miles will not expire as long as you are a TD Aeroplan Credit Cardholder2

If you can get a few at ounce it's worth it.
Besides its always good to have more banks offering good credit cards.

If the Td go card earns points and is not a CA then this card means 6,000 Aeroplan points for $6 every month. Idk if the above works.

TD Go card was an MS technique that essentially died last year when they started only accepting TD cards for loads.  Would be curious if the Aeroplan visa earned points/didn't trigger CA fees.

I applied and they pulled Experian.

In the welcome package it says that spending mikes count towards 'distinction' status.

Would that get me *A status?

No.  Officially it gets you better availability.

No I believe it gives you cheaper to their market fares. I don't think it opens saver availability. (tbh it's not worth much)
