Yes. The CC has nothing to do with your rewards account (aside from earning more points).

Need a hotel room anywhere in Boston tomorrow night (9/9), but virtually everything is booked.
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot? Is it the Pats game?
Ideally we would book at Westin Waltham, or Hyatt House Boston/Waltham, but there is nothing available anywhere.
Any ideas? (Yes, I've called central reservations and specific hotels, and no, unfortunately, I don't have much status.)

Never mind...turns out we don't need room until Thurs, 9/10, and there's wide-open availability.
