Why would you want to do that?

Does the answer depend on that?

Not that it directly applies to this, especially because you didn't actually specify what you're trying to do, but as an aside, if you're matching over from Hertz to National, I would just mention that I've recently found that Hertz's elite statuses have been essentially worthless. I've been Hertz PC for over a year now, and I've found their service to be steadily decreasing. First they downgraded PC from a 2-class upgrade to a 1-class, then they made it only if available. As a PC I haven't been getting any special treatment or cars any nicer than I would have otherwise gotten. (Interestingly enough, I found this to be especially true in NYC airport locations, you can read into that what you like.) I finally got sick of it to the point where I matched myself to National Exec Elite and have been using them of late, and I gotta say, the service has been superb thus far. In my last two rentals, one I landed in EWR and the entire Emeral Exec Aisle was Maximas, Avalons and Yukons, I drove a brand new well-appointed Avalon with 6 miles on it, the second rental was in MIA, the Emerald Exec Aisle was mostly empty, so with very little pushing, I got the attendant to give me a free upgrade into the Camaro Convertible that they had parked there for the upsell. In both cases I only made for a midsize!

So to those trying to match in the other direction, I would be wary.

Yes that's the email.
Do you already have an account with Hertz?

Your request (Hi, I'd like to status match etc..),
Photo proof of your status with the competition,
Your Hertz Gold #

Should be enough.

Does National (or Alamo) pick you up and drop you off?
Do they have a drop box for after hours returns?

Not sure about picking you up, but I know for sure that some National locations allow after hours returns, it'll say it on the locations page on the National site if they do.

Do you specifically need National? Enterprise offers both pick-up and after hours returns, and rentals with Enterprise can earn rental credits in the National program. (In fact, if the rental is from an Enterprise location which is in an area that isn't served by National, which is basically most neighborhood locations, then the Enterprise rental would even qualify for National promotions such as One Two Free.)

are you sure about that?  I remember reading somewhere that it needs to be from National to qualify for the 1-2-free promotion.

Hey there! I am using DansDeals Forums.

"Do I receive credit for rentals completed with Enterprise®?
You can receive ONE TWO FREE bonus points for an Enterprise neighborhood rental if you qualify for that bonus opportunity. If you qualify, the Enterprise neighborhood bonus opportunity will appear on your Bonus Opportunities page on the promotion website. Other Enterprise rentals, not considered neighborhood bonus opportunity rentals, are not qualifying ONE TWO FREE rentals and will not result in ONE TWO FREE points outside of the bonus opportunity, but will count as a program credit on your Emerald Club account if you use your Emerald Club number on the rental."

One. Two. Free. is a promotion that National is running which ends on 1/31/15 where for every two rentals you make, you get a free rental day.

I don't believe that there is any official ugrade given at Enterprise for National elites, but it prob doesn't hurt to ask.

I signed up for the national emeral executive  promo but only got until 2016, is it bad to cal and ask for the extension  to 2017?

By the way, is it just me or does national not have any codes to waive underage?

And in general, whats the best method for cheap prices with them?
