This talk about AS auditing accounts is real stuff and not some common BS story on FT. I have opened quite a few (or maybe I should say A LOT of) AS cards recently and downgraded/closed them, never sold a single mile, only used them myself once to fly EK F.
My AS account is currently under audit and there's no one to talk to. I called AS they told me the audit is from BofA and to call BofA. I called BofA and they told me to call AS. Made a conference call between AS and BofA and got no where, they just kept saying "you need to wait until we finish this audit and we don't know when that will be".
Just a side note, they told me my account was under audit since June 2nd, interesting that they never emailed me or contacted me regarding this and I only found out when I tried logging in yesterday (6/16) and I got the infamous "your account has discrepancies" message.
Anyone that has a nice size AS account, and/or has opened - closed/downgraded cards recently - get ready to battle because this isn't looking pretty.
