If you try to cancel, your greed in saving $450 can trigger the cancellation of tens of thousands of dollars of other people's fuel-dumped tickets. Think I'm exaggerating? I've seen it happen with my own eyes.

NOW do you people understand what I mean by the "dark side of FD"?!

And NOW do you see why we don't like when the newbie, "gimme a cheap ticket to Israel!!!!" crowd gets a hold of these?! Let me tell you, when someone from that crowd gets a hold of these fares and books his family of 10 people for $4,500 total, and then they have to cancel the trip for some reason, I GUARANTEE you he will not resist the temptation to cancel and get his $4,500 back. He WILL cancel to get his money back, and he WILL get the dump killed for many other people. And THAT is a big part of why veterans don't like it when newbies get their hands on this stuff.

Okay, I will spell it out to you. Lets say 50 people who know this game well know about this, some of them will use it for their close relatives, and they KNOW the rules not to call the airline for anything, not even requesting a KSML ETC. If that's the end then this may go on the way its been going on for a while already.

The way you are going, NUMBER ONE you tell the public "hey, there is a FD to TLV" now imagine a UA employee looks at this thread.  :-X

2) This is a public forum, hundreds of people are now going to book this and not only will it die a painful death, once they will realize they can cancel everybody else's tickets.

There are lots of FD to lots of different cities. And I did not give away the airline. You did. I did not even state that it was a FD.

Well, that's not the point. People know that $400 flights to TLV = FD. There are not 300 airlines NYC-TLV.

I still hope as people said above this thread should be deleted. Lets go on in life....

I don't understand this mentality, that only you and 50 other people should know about something. FD is not exactly rocket science. Anyone who would book this kind of flight knows what they are getting themselves into. Give people some credit. And even if this does die, another FD will come around. There are in fact a bunch on this route.

The flights are not $400. They are "reduced" by $400. This isn't even that amazing of a FD.
