Boston for a 22 Hour Mileage Run TR with @Itsyehuda
First off a special thanks to @Zow @Henche @Yoshapman @JayR @Dan

Man plans (and plans) and God laughs.

We started our day parking at Snap Parking Newark (HT @Normathej) parking lot with a $13 coupon + 6 Fee which was really a snap. Just make sure to buy the Groupon and make a reservation on their site.

After several short delays due to the plane not arriving, we finally took off an hour and 20 minutes late. On our arrival to Boston we also have received some short delay. Close to landing we were able to see Castle Island from the wing(Check) and we checked off the first thing on our to do list. From the airport we decided to avoid car rental or uber and just took a silver line for the bus to the first S. Station which was only a five-minute walk from our hotel. But in retrospect we should have just Lyft instead (Not Uber to avoid airport fee. HT @Henche). We checked into The Aloft hotel and they gave us an adequate but slightly larger than a standard room with a lovely corner view. 12k SPG. The hotel itself is what you would expect from aloft hotel no service due to a skeleton shift at night but very nice and very polite about it.  Nothing extra provided for free so if your coming plan to bring extra water a tooth brush etc. The hotel has a pool and a billiard table, a pretty bar and a cute fireplace with plenty of seating options. The breakfast was not worth opting for so instead I took the 500 points and was offered a complementary latte. The hotel was very kind about offering two free drink vouchers to be used at the bar for complementary entry-level drinks such as the Samuel Adams Brick Red beer which is only found and served in Boston(and on tap) which we enjoyed as a night cap later on.

We had planned to start our day with the freedom Trail followed by milk Street which had a highly recommended and applauded hot pastrami on ciabatta with avocado, onions, chipotle sauce, and cole slaw [HT @Hence] And then to Castle Island.

Due to weather we decided to do some indoor activity Google highly recommended as Boston’s most popular indoor activity Drinking. So we went to go Drink. Off to Samuel Adams Brewery and a few minutes later we are being well educated by Alisa about Roasting Barley. Pale, C60 and Chocolate Barley; Hops and Yeast. Shortly after you’ll be drinking beer…but sadly from the pitcher was a big no no. (Sit on a small table and you’ll end up with a extra pitchers for 2nds & 3rds and 4hts na d 6 7tsh)

Now thta we drankk a tidd of beeer (Check) We were ready to go see the “Freedom Trail” But since a lot of it was thru a cemetery or church we decided to go see Paul Revere’s House. Which was small and cute for $3.50 pp.  and then just walk to Paul Revere’s Statue and a cute dirty pond and then a quick bathroom stop at the Firehouse.

Being that we're New Yorkers we were fine with just that and checked it off our list. Freedom Trail(Check) Time for an Uber to Duck Tours. We had a lovely Uber driver that did us the fine courtesy of Driving past Cheers (Check) and down Newbury St(Check) which was really nice shops similar to a Madison Ave, NY.

Past the Library which was too late to go for coffee in the courtyard(No Check) :(

On to the Duck Tours. The Duck tours is 80 Mins of Corny Jokes and a tour around the City past a skate park and thru the Charles River. Educational and Corny. but a nice relaxing ride after a long day $40pp. Schedule runs every 30 mins or so. We departed from the city Center near the Prudential Building.  Something really beautiful we saw on the Charles river was people were renting sailboats Next time we need to add that to our todo list.

When we returned we went to the Prudential Center Indoor Shopping Mall (Check) a cute Mall with a Glass roof top. As we proceeded we decided to stop for drinks at the Top of the Hub (Before 8pm No min. pp)(No Baseball Hats allowed) So we ordered some Beers took in the beautiful Sunset views from the 52nd floor. (found a corner at the end of the hall to pray in). Saw Fenway Park(Check) finished our beers and left towards Brookline.

On Route we past the Holocaust Memorial(Free) which in retrospect we should have told him to stop and we should have gotten out to see this tribute. 6 Glass towers each representing several elements, camps and numbers of people who passed away. The driver informed us it’s hot under the tower and has a gas smell to it to remind us of the torture the jews went thru the camps during the holocaust.

Brookline is where the Jewish Community and the Kosher Restaurants are. We ended up in Taam China and unfortunately @itsyehuda and I answer to a higher authority(Our Wives) who were not eating Fried and Chinese food. so we made our way down to Rubin’s 10 mins before closing which they turned us down even for Takeout so make sure you get there early! So we headed back past Taam China to our source of dinner for the evening, Rami’s. Nice Israeli place with some Fantastic Kubbe. The Shawarma Pita was delicious as was the Falafel. everything was what you would expect it to be from a Israeli Style Restaurant. Next Door is Cold Press Juice Bar which has some Incredible… yes you guessed it Cold Pressed Juices. They allow tasting of ALL their juices as well. We ended up taking 2, Watermelon and another one which was a blend of Pair, Mint, Lime & Pineapple which was a welcoming breakfast drink.

After dinner at Rami's we were stuffed so we headed to Taam China for some dessert the famous Crispy Chicken [HT @Dan] which was remarkably dangerously hot even when we got back to our hotel and after we got our beers! I'm talking mouth burning hot! The Crispy Chicken was everything everyone made it out to be not your best chicken you ever had but a very very yummy Battered chicken (think sweet and sour chicken) smothered in a yummy sweet sauce.

[to Note we didn’t get to go but Bleacher Bar an Incredible Bar built into the Green Monster you can See through the Bleacher’s to Fenway Park - But we skipped this because they mentioned currently there was a stage blocking majority of the view since a concert was scheduled at the Stadium tomorrow.]

Back to the hotel.
Quick Photo by the Antlers.
Played a few games of pool finished our beers and bourbon and headed up stairs for some shut eye.

Next Morning we Uber’ed to the airport, TSA thru’ed security and headed towards the C19 Lounge. Priority Pass allows 9 Guest while the Lounge Club allows 1 (1 I believe). We had some breakfast and some Coffee and we headed to our scheduled Gate C21. Little did we know they changed our gate to C34 and we dashed thru the airport to our new Gate. Stopped for a photo on the rocking chairs by the airplanes (Check) and made our flight home. Landed Called for our car from Snap Parking Newark.(Terminal A) Headed down to Parking Level then to Lane 5 for the shuttle and we were in our awaited car and on our way.

Boston a fun place when your sober, Said no one drunk.

The memorial is quite amazing. There's a million names on each tower.

My mistake; I meant a million numbers per tower IIRC.
