They say there is a direct correlation between how frum/heimish a shul is and how many tissue boxes it has.
I was asked to come in for minyan in a Yeshivisha shul a while ago. Apparently there are three signs alerting a Chosid that he's in a Yeshivisha place:
- There are more shtenders than there are people davning.
- Instead of two boxes of tissues per table, there's one box per two tables.
- There's a sign posted which states that due to bein hazmanim there will be a late shachris minyan, with Hodu at 7:30.
