Hi All,
I have multiple email addresses and some are IMAP and some are POP. I'm having trouble combining them all into one inbox, for convenient viewing, on Microsoft Outlook (2007).
Can someone guide me on how to do this in Microsoft Outlook or perhaps recommend a desktop or web based application that can provide this convenience for me? I am willing to pay for such an inbox.
An important point though, when replying to an email in this inbox, I must be able to send it from any of the subscribed email accounts.
Many thanks,
MeilechE
You can't combine POP and IMAP into one place AFAIK, unless you set them to forward to one and have the inbox program sync (IMAP) to that one.
What might work is to have them all forward to a gmail account, and you can set up that gmail so it can send from any.
If you want a desktop app:
I've found that Outlook and IMAP doesn't always work well with gmail. You can try it, and if it doesn't work and you still want to use Outlook, you may want to pay for a google apps account. Then you could use Google Apps Sync for MS Outlook, which works very well.
Or you can look into gmail offline apps, i've seen them mentioned on DDF before but don't remember where.
