if you have global entry it's maybe enough, if not it's probably not enough, when I passed YYZ there was a crazy line by customs, also you normally have to wait for your bags to be pictured and wait for your name to come up on the screeen for you to be able to go to a customs agent

Ridiculous. I'd worry more about them honoring the fare. If they do, be happy you got what you got. Use your Amex plat to pay the seat charge lol.

I hated connecting through YYZ, and flying J didn't make it any better (and I do have Nexus and GE).

As a matter of fact, YYZ is one of the airports I try to avoid.

For my flights it's $25-$40+ per passenger per leg. So my $240+ ticket would go up to ~$300.

I booked 1 trip for 3 people, so not so bad (not that I'm gonna pay). But people traveling with 4+ pax, or booked multiple trips, those numbers really add up quick.
