Is a silencer something which has not legit use? Do hunters not want their shots to be silenced in order to not scare animals?

Silencers have about a 30db noise reduction. Any idea what an AR or 9mm noise level is? You are not going to wear ear protection with the use of a silencer?

I meant semi automatic. but after listening to some Ben shapiro it seems that banning them is the agenda of the left. Im on board... Ben argues that we need them to protect against tyranny from our own government. While I dont think that their is no possibility that may happen, I dont think it includes all weapons such as tanks and RPGs etc. so I just draw the line a little earlier.
