Scanner Utility
« on: July 05, 2011, 03:55:42 AM »
I'm looking for a free scanner utility that can scan multiple pages. I have an HP AIO, the HP software is bloated and useless, and MS paint can only do one page at a time. OCR not needed.

Anyone know of something like that?

Office 2003 comes with MS office doc imaging and MS office doc scanning, IIRC both do multiple pages (one of them definitely does).

I'm getting the Fijitsu snapscan iX500 scanner to digitize all my papers (statements, Tax docs, policies, notes etc.)

It comes bundled with Rack2 Filer software.

What is the best software to use to organize and store all my docs. Rack2 Filer, Paperport, Filecenter, another?
Or maybe just use folders in Windows explorer?

Thanks!
