Looks like this really only kicks in 2025 for existing Globalists (see Part B)
(i) Guest of Honor:
Effective January 1, 2024, Guest of Honor will become a Milestone Reward, as described above, and will no longer be offered as a tier benefit to members achieving Globalist status. For clarity and without limiting the foregoing, the Globalist Guest of Honor benefit will be discontinued effective January 1, 2024, except that:
(a) Members who have earned Globalist status for all or part of 2024 as of December 31, 2023, will receive five (5) of the Guest of Honor Awards described in the Milestone Reward section above during January 2024 – and will be able to enjoy the expanded perks offered by those new Guest of Honor Awards – provided that such automatically provided 2024 Guest of Honor Awards will be valid for a reservation with a checkout date on or before February 28, 2025.
(b) Should a such Member whose Globalist status expires February 28, 2025, or later apply to reservations or transfer via gift all of their Guest of Honor Awards, they may still make use of the legacy Globalist Guest of Honor benefit described below until February 28, 2025 (or, for any such Member who has Globalist status that – as of December 31, 2023 – expires later than February 28, 2025, until February 28, 2026).
(c) Should such a Member whose Globalist status expires February 29, 2024, apply to reservations or transfer via gift all of their Guest of Honor Awards, they may still make use of the legacy Globality Guest of Honor benefit described below until February 29, 2024.
In each case, Guest of Honor Awards must be applied to reservations or gifted to another Member (in accordance with these Terms) first, before the legacy Globalist Guest of Honor benefit can be utilized.
Legacy Globalist Guest of Honor benefit terms:
Gifting an Award section of these Terms. Guest of Honor benefits are available only for gifted awards that are redeemed at a participating Park Hyatt, Miraval, Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, Hyatt, Andaz, Hyatt Centric, The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, Thompson Hotels, Alila (some locations only), JdV by Hyatt, Dream (some locations only), Destination by Hyatt (both participating Destination Hotels and participating Destination Residences locations), Caption by Hyatt, Hyatt Place, Hyatt House, Hyatt Ziva, Hyatt Zilara, Hyatt Vivid, Impression by Secrets, Secrets, Breathless, Zoëtry, Alua, Sunscape, or other Legacy AMR Collection (some locations only) hotel or resort. Not valid at Hyatt Vacation Club properties.
