Unsure if this is new news however I called my globalist concierge and she advised that it is acceptable for another member to "Gift" an award night to book under my name and for me to receive globalist benefits.

Has this been the case for some time and can anyone here conirm?

If one wants to use another Globalist account but his own points you can call up and gift the reservation to the Globalist member and then add your name to the reservation. The Globalist can then add his Suite upgrade to the reservation. Just did this for a friend, he got himself a Corner Suite at Ziva Cancun for 25k a night.

So you're the Globalist? Your friend booked their reservation, gifted it to you, then you added their name and they checked in with Globalist beneifts?

Hyatt has "destination locations "where the rent condos. Does anyone know if the suite upgrades for globalist can be used to get a higher standard condo.(The ones that I am interested are in Vail Colorado).
