I got an instant approval for a defunct business (i.e. the business existed at one time, but no longer is operational).  I did use my SS, though, not the old EIN.  Since the business did exist at one time, I used the business name.
I remember a post a few months ago, something along the lines of a person was being rejected because the company name could not be found in any company listings.  I think it was an AMEX app, but I might be wrong.  I remember Dan responded, something along the lines of, "Why don't people listen to me when I say use your name with Sole Prop".

U currently have 2 ink cards I'm looking to churn them how should I go about it 1)cancel wait 3 months apply again 2)apply without canceling and then tell them to cancel my old and approve my new one?

If you are not in a rush, it may be easier to apply for other business cards and use these as leverage.

Though it is possible to have more than 2 cards at once.

Are there any chase Business cards with the 7% point dividend? like with SP. If not then pays to use SP for heavy business use.

They earn the same UR Points. If you will be churning your cards, may not make much of a difference, unless it is around February when they do the 7%.

I think  it is only on what you earned until then. If you churn it too close to Feb, you may not get a good return on 7%.

When applying for numerous Buisness cards in 3/4bm . Is it better to have 3/4 different businesses or have 1/2 & apply for say 2 cards for each Buisness & divide it Btwn say travel & employee spending etc? When r they more likely to approve multiple cards in shot? Also if u have extensive history & good credit but no Buisness cards , r they likely to approve more than 1 card in 3bm Buisness?

When was the last time this business filled a tax return?
