In my experience it doesn't make an iota of a difference. People will make their decision based on how they perceive
your capabilities to deliver, regardless of you being single, married, white, black, straight, gay etc..
So no, your ring will not affect their decision one way or the other. (and frankly, nor will your yarmulke.)
