Looking for a 3-4 day summer getaway ideas - somewhere not to far from nyc (open to flying)
- beautiful hotel (points options preferred)
- kosher food (preferred)
- not too hot

Does anyone have any ideas for me for a 3 day trip? (I know it's pretty specific, but I'll try anyway)

• Within about a  6 Hr. drive from NJ
• A Marriott or IHG hotel where I can use certificates and get either a 2br suite or adjoining room (for points)
• Affordable things to do in the area with kids, besides hiking

Williamsburg, VA
It's not mountainous at all, but the area has beautiful architecture and amazing historical sights, including Colonial Williamsburg (a bunch of streets with over five hundred structures that have been preserved and restored to accurately portray 18th century colonial life) and Jamestown/Yorktown. There are also many activities for kids there.

If you want to add a scenic/hiking component to the trip, drive down there via Shenandoah National Park's Skyline Dr. It'll probably add 2-3 hrs to the drive, but it's well worth it.
