I suggest you not travel too far, in order not to spend too much time just coming and going.
Any one of these cities

Great Britain: London, Edinburgh/Glasgow
Italy: Rome/Tuscany, Venice
Switzerland, some views and hiking

My favorite cause: cssy.org

I'm sure this has been asked many times in this thread, which European county is best for traveling with kids for a week in the Summer?

I'll be with a 1 & 3 year old, starting in London for Shabbos then going anywhere for the following week and Shabbos.
Hey there! I am using DansDeals Forums.

Traveling with kids ages 4-14 End of June to London
have to be in London on Thursday afternoon and the next Monday in TLV
Have an extended weekend and don't want to stay in London,
looking for somewhere in Europe with Shabbos food, and either culture or nature, but something that wont break the bank, or could use points for hotels
Was thinking Venice but apts and hotels are crazy expensive...

Hi,

Looking for "new" vacation spot for a week long family summer trip in late june- Last 4 years we've gone to Miami, San Diego, Montreal & Orlando- im in NY.
Must be kid friendly (and avoid waterparks or water related activities)+ walking distance to shul/minyan (for shabbos). Kosher food would be a big plus

i was thinking of Arizona maybe but might be too hot- Any thoughts/ other recommendations?

TIA

Arizona is great summertime vacation if you enjoy the feeling of being in a convection oven.

Cleveland has the best summertime weather in the country :)

How's the restaurant scene there these days?

Last time I was there it was just ESKD.

Ya, I think it's just that and a pizza store and falafel stand. Haven't been there since this trip though.

Denver is good for shabbos. OP can go out to RMNP, Vail, or elsewhere in the area after that.

How about Colorado? There are loads of threads here with great ideas and I believe it checks off your requirements.
Washington/Montana might be a nice combination, but not sure about the MT kosher food situation.
If you were fine with FL, AZ can be a nice summer trip, especially if Flagstaff is your base, though late winter/spring would be optimal for greater AZ.

Having a hard time narrowing down a destination for July (full month). Was originally hoping to travel internationally. Europe and Southern Africa are out of our budget for a month, Northern Africa and Middle East/ Central Asia are too hot, and in the Far East/SE Asia it's monsoon season.

At the moment we're thinking of switching our plan to a Northern US road trip, but that would mean not booking anything other than Shabbosim in advance (to maintain flexibility), and I'm nervous about hotels selling out since it's peak season across the country.

Any ideas for an international destination that has decent weather in July (other than mentioned above), or how to maintain flexibility but ensure hotel availability in the US?
