Rumor is they are afraid of getting audited for the funding they receive so bmg cracked down,even though enrollment is declining & this weeds out people.

Seems like the government is scrutinizing lakewood at the moment,between this & the jersey care wave.

Totally not true.
You can speak for yourself.
Anyway, TAG is not here to "allow" devices. They're here to do a service and filter them. Which also answers your other point. You are not breaking their rules if you buy a device and keep it unfiltered. All they do is a service and they may have a policy.

From what I understand tag employees will filter a phone, even for bochrim. but tag officially does not provide that service.

I was there earlier and there was a someone who wanted them to filter his son's phone, and they wouldn't do it for him.

Lakewood tag and other tags have very different rules in Brooklyn they are influencing bachrum to tag there phones

Slightly OT: What's the best way to terminate Jerseycare, and get a letter from them stating that I've been terminated? Call? Go to Lkwd office? Toms River office? Need to bring anything along?

Doesn't work that way anymore.
If you aren't registered in a chaburah, you need to give in a seating card.

If you don't, they call you and ask you where you sit.
Then they come check up to make you are actually in the seat.
