 My view on a statement like Rav Miller's is that whatever happens we are supposed to take a lesson out of it. When a tragedy happens and we say it may have been because of this that or the other thing it is simply to take a lesson from it for personal improvement. It is not to lay fault.

Fun is fine, but people are terrified for themselves & their kids. And nobody can guarantee safety.
Right here in the US they’ve advised people to hide their Jewish appearance, close schools, avoid certain areas, & hope for the best.

Exactly. Jews have always had to avoid certain areas. Nothing new. Problem is with all these mob protests,  “certain areas” can be mere blocks away from the heart of a Jewish community.

Similar experience a couple weeks ago coming from Manhattan to CH, one guy on the train was just going on one long rant the entire 40 minutes.
He seemed not 100%, and the type of guy you just ignore, so that's what I did.

2 frum girls got on at some point, tried answering back and asking no one in specific why no one is saying anything.
Either way, at the next stop they went to the next car.
