When you cancel a BA ticket online it says what taxes and avios you are getting back.

Once you flew the first leg you will not get back any avios. (Always book them as separate legs)

I dont understand! i checked a flight on AA and taxes are $2.50 and on BA its a whopping $350 does this make sense???
or maybe if i putpac it wont be an issue?

Each airline sets it's own fee schedule, so whether it makes sense or not....

Was it over the atlantic? I can be wrong but I believe BA charged YQ on AA metal where AA does not.

If AA shows it call BA and book over the phone. Make sure they don't charge you the phone booking fee.

Another interesting one. Lately every time I log into BA, they have a popup asking me to update my info or check that it is correct. Each time I log in. How do I stop it?

Same here. Pops up even after I already updated my info.

How can I select seats on Air Berlin -reservation made via BA -- I tried many times on different days hoping a glitch on site----

went to AB site found where to select seats --entered name ref #--- took me to "my booking" that showed my flt--saw pull down on my booking --went to seat selection -- get this

"Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete."

tried I/E and after i enter all info and try to select seat keeps taking me back to RE-ENTER INFO over and over

Seats are for biz class

called and waited 1 1/2 hours and just gave up

Looked on BA , GET "Seat choice will be available at check-in"--- I THOUGHT only the actual airline controlled seat selection ---- is BIZ class on AB from JFK to BERLIN ONLY at gate?

a) try a different browser
b) you may not be able to select seats on AB when booked with BA.
That was the case for me last year. They assigned everyone in my reservation seats together.
