It is obvious once the decision was made to surrender they were no longer needed. Like I said I could see maybe 1-2k were still needed if that many. Why weren't the rest evacuated when we were still in charge?

BINGO, but who is the one who dropped the ball on that? It seems that the Biden admin was warned about this by the intel community. When did they make this assessment? Was it while Trump was in office? After? Either way the bottom line decision was definitely under Biden. It could have been changed as the intel came in.
