Turnout in Lakewood was about 7.2 percent.
How does that compare to other similar towns that didn't  turnout over specific rows like Jackson?

Pathetic. Come to CLE to see how it's done.
Just went through the numbers again and realized that the turnout was more like 9.4 percent. I wasn't looking at the Democrat side and those who didn't check off a congressional choice on the ballot.

Yes, still a real shame and pathetic.

I attribute the low number to the fact that it was the day after a 3-day Yom Tov, and everyone forgot about the election. And although there were some robocalls telling people to vote, there was no large-scale movement like there was previously.

And that was to get rid of some anti semites. What was turnout in boring non Jewish towns?

Ocean County overall had a turnout of 14.47 (in votes counted so far. Mail ins are still counted if they come over the next few days)

Turnout of a few random towns:

Toms River - 13.9
Point Pleasant - 13.9
Manchester - 19.8
Brick - 12.4

Chris Smith was being challenged by a very vocal opponent, who got more votes than most of his opponents usually get. The guy had backing for Roger Stone and Michael Flynn, and although Trump never gave an endorsement, he advertised with big pictures of Trump. The district is a heavy Trump district, and it was far from a 'non-contested' race.

If you were a Democrat, indeed, it was uncontested.

If you're informed. Most people have very busy lives in Lakewood and if they are not told that there are elections today, they won't know.

I guess by the time people got out of traffic getting their kids to the late starts the polls were closed.
