They said they were embedded and insinuated they were employed by AP, CNN and others. It seems everyone takes that as fact until proven otherwise.

Same thing with the person killed in Detroit and the person that died in LA.

I was with you until the LA thing. 2 of these things are guesses and insinuation, with no clear evidence of the allegations (employees vs freelancers for the news outlets, and anti-Semitic motive in the Detroit murder). The other is a documented altercation with eyewitnesses. We may not know if the blow caused his death, but that's pretty much the only unknown.

Separate the arguments against people jumping to conclusions from the argument over semantics.

This is wrong unless something new was released today. They have no idea how it started or who was the aggressor. That is why they want video of it. So far you haven't been sucked into the EC, don't let it happen.

When common sense tells me something is off, I do a simple check. Their report wasn't verified anywhere at the time.
If I wasn't enjoying myself at the greatest concert (not being stoned) I ever seen, I would have followed up on it.

As far as a hack. When they have honest in the name you can be 99.99% sure it is a hack site.

I am extremely proud of their work and have not seen a dishonest article or statement from them. I would take NYP out of the list. All the rest probably qualify.

Though traditionally it refers to ABC, CBS & NBC. Probably most would add CNN too.

And in print it would be NYT and WaPo.

Is it that difficult to hit "translate post". Other than the superfluous word "Yediot" the translation is good. In today's day and age language isn't much of a barrier online. There's even a Twitter bot that puts subtitles on videos (translatemom).

Yes. They are working with lots of human intelligence now. Going through hours of footage from phones and go-pros captured, interrogating captured terrorists, etc. They are focused on getting the names of every last terrorist that participated, so that they pay the price. (Obviously first getting as much info as possible to help reach the hostages and information about tunnels and other military installations and operations.)
