I called BA, and they gave me they just repeated that there was no AB availability.

yes, it pulls up passenger info but nowhere to make seat selections.

Thanks. I just called BA in SIN and asked them to change my address to a local one in SIN, and then they found availability for a flight from DUS to JFK (in coach and business!).

The cost of a coach ticket would be 24,500 Avios, but they could not tell me how much I would need to pay in fees and taxes until after I changed my address to one in SIN. Do you have any idea how much it would cost? Because the other alternative is to book on Iberia metal on their website, which also costs 24,500 Avios, and around $180.00. Do you think that AB would be cheaper? Do you recommend one airline over the other in coach?

Also, do you think that I would actually need to change my address, or can I ask BA to look into their flights for SIN customers?

I'm looking to book at BA award with my Chase points. If I call a rep and find the itinerary I want, do I just ask them to hold on while I transfer the points? Will they transfer immediately?

Don't want to find the right itinerary only to lose it because of a transfer delay, but don't want the points to go to BA if I can't be sure to use them.

trying to book a flight out of an account thats not mine. CC keeps declining, I'm guessing because the name on the card don't match the name on the account. GC didnt work either. How do I get the purchase to go through?
