Explain please. Do they give you a problem with it? Does the email with the tik info say somewhere it's refundable?

Also, do they clawback the 2x bonus AA miles?

Sorry I wasn't clear . I was referring to cancelling it online , That's what I cant figure out . Your link seems to be after its canceled you request a refund for the monies paid.

CS told me that only if it was purchased when logged in to your AA account it could be cancelled online . I doubt that's accurate

I don't know, I just did this yesterday. I requested a refund and got an email a little later that it was processed.

IIRC , I tried that and the system couldn't find my cancellation. When I checked the details I thought they said that you need to first cancel then request a refund . Could very well be wrong

Go the smooth way. Call up, get it canceled and refunded in 5 min.

I applied for the Citi AA visa and Amex. I thought they were both really citi cards and not amex but I got two pulls one with Equifax and one with Experian. IS that normal?

I spent 2.8k on a tik, and .25k w AP. My total mileage posted to AA account is 58.9k. I believe that makes it a total of 3 AA for each dollar spent there. Oddly enough, the statement doesn't make this so clear.

AA doesn't take back the miles when you refund the ticket?
