True to my word, I headed back to Noi Due to give it another chance, as so many of you think it deserves.

1st of all, for those of you who (like me) thought otherwise the name is pronounced Nohway Dohway- not Noy Doo or No Doo or Nwah Doo....

We had the famed Fried Mac n Cheese balls- quite good but I actually liked their Mozzarella Basket (fried Mozzarella cubes, and onions, mushrooms and tomatoes sauteed in teriyaki sauce in a flaky dough basket) better.

Then I tried some whole wheat cheese ravioli in a pesto walnut cream sauce- delicious!

We tried to finish our peanut butter mousse- but we were too stuffed!

Not that I mind too much (I am more of a food over service kind of person) there was quite a wait to get a table, but we had seats at the bar, so we didn't have to stand...

Again, service was great- my glass of water was never empty long, the waiters were friendly and efficient.

I still think that the food should be slightly hotter when it gets to the table...

The pronunciation is actually No'ay dew'ay.

Means "two of us" in Italian.

According to Google Translate- it sounds more like Noy'e D'weh

Update:

Mushroom slice (with sauce) was not bad, definitely not the best I've had.

The truffle slice (without sauce), however, was fantastic. May be the best pizza I've had (even without sauce!).

Had to order again. And pizza is even bigger this time.

Got a truffle slice, mushroom, and green olive slice. Yum.

Anybody ever had an actual truffle or a bit of it- where you can actually taste it?

Is it worth it?

Fajita Steak Salad
chargrilled tenderloin tossed with tomato salsa, avocado, field greens and crispy yucca chips, dressed in a barbecue-cilantro vinaigrette

Cedar Plank Salmon
oven roasted, with whipped sweet potatoes and maple bourbon honey drizzle

Both excellent.

Does it really matter when the office is paying for it? :P
