Its pretty good though.
I had a forum, in the same spirit as DD (for europeans), with about a 1000 members, and the most online was about 20 or so.

Why do you have to put everything down. We are a small oilem here. Its not FT. So 40 people at the same time is nice. Not everything has to be put down!

As much as Dan would maybe like to have a constant 10.000 people on, it would lose the touch from my point of view.

things that are posted here now, wouldn't happen on a FT sized forum.

Its nice, and friendly, not too many flares and loshon horo.

It's over, but I was enforcing  a strictly no loshon hora policy which not everybody liked.

Then another guy opened another forum devoted to just do that, so i lost quite a few members.

I was the only guy posting shticks, so to make it look good, I posted under different names, but it didnt inspire others to participate.

The only time they posted was for helped, so I figured, just drop the idea.
