I have really bad experience using livingsocial links in the past. Lots of times it just doesn't register the purchase. Maybe it doesnt work if it's being used on a mobile device? I'm not sure what the common denominator is. Their CS is terrible only saying it's a automatic system and can't be adjusted manually.

I went with my wife about 6 months ago we both loved it. It ended up costing us another $40.00 with tip and drinks and a desert to split.

My experiences here have been mixed. I have gotten some of their cheaper food, and I was really quite impressed. However, when I used a groupon for it a while ago, the food was not great, and the cost of tax and tip was kind of ridiculous (I was not allowed to pay less then the "suggested" amount).

Hench is a big fan of gotham burger and also amstersam burger, esp for dates. You get high class experience and the food tastes good, albeit its a burger instead of a steak.

Well, if they added a %, it would be the same thing, no?

Having the customers tip aligns the incentives better, since the waiters want to make the customers happy.

if the food was good or bad. The waiter had nothing to do with that.
If the kitchen is backed up or not. Is also not in the waiters hands in order to bring my food fast or not. So it boils down to how nice he apologies for the slow service or bad food. For that he needs insensitive based on the cost of my steak or chicken dinner ?
