Been there twice and loved it. Stayed at the gansevoort (a little too trendy for us) and the veranda (which was AMAZiNG, but recently closed). We went both times in mid-November and had great weather. In terms of food, we brought meals from pomegranate for lunch/dinner and otherwise got food from the local supermarket for breakfast/snacks. My understanding is that a lot of the food is brought in from the states so there were plenty of options with recognizable hechsherim (IIRC, the supermarket prices were in line with the prices you see in Hawaii). In terms of activities, we mainly took it easy, although we did go on a snorkling trip that was a lot of fun. People that we were with went to the casino that's on the island, but it sounded pretty shady. Overall, it's the ideal place to go if you're looking to just relax and get out of the cold. Enjoy!
