Is there a way to set this up to bid as the clock is hitting 0 ?

I was winning an item, kept refreshing the page till about 10 seconds left, it showed me winning with my bid until it hit 0, then it says I didn’t win & was outbid half a minute ago & shows a higher price.

Never tried it myself, but I think that's what sniping software does.

I've gotten a few items in the last seconds. If you are ready to bid higher in the first place, why not just submit it? You won't have to pay that much if no one outbids at smaller increments.

If everyone put in the absolute maximum that they were willing to pay then you're correct, but as long as there are people who want to up their bid manually as the auction goes along (as @TimT did in this case) then sniping software has a use as a way of preventing those bidders from outbidding you, no? It just prevents people from manually outbidding you.

Right, didn’t think about that aspect. So basically the software is to bid against people who want to leverage these last few seconds by bidding manually. Sounds like a ‘get with the times’ thing.
Personally if I’m set on an item I’ll just put my highest price knowing my bid will only be one increment above the second highest bid.

someone told me they just  got an email lifting their account restriction from buying on ebay after circumventing daily deals limits a few  years ago wondering if I can get mine lifted also, may  have to do with the recent ebay revamp

Finally they removed the PayPal fees.

That's strange, if they're trying to get away from PayPal why would you require a PayPal account at first? interesting?

Its a disaster, many sellers are furious. You lose all your seller protection with sellers loved PayPal for.

Can you post here the exact email that you got?
You can always try opening another account with a VPN and a different address.

What's the deal with shipping things with batteries like bluetooth earbuds to us territory type of thing like this one: 96940 ?
