Either way the comparison isn't accurate, A) the terrorists were probably trying to keep them alive to exchange for prisoners, as painful as that is, it's not the same
as pure, reckless, revenge. B) Jews lived in Muslim countries for hundreds of years peacefully. The hate is educated because they (wrongly) believe we stole their land. That's an over simplification.  There are plenty of Israeli Jews that want every Palestinian dead.  I've seen and met people like that firsthand.  Just like there are Palestinians that want nothing other than to live in peace with access to the same things that the Israelis have.

The Israelis gave them 24-48 hours to stop the rockets before even firing a shot. Since then there have been 2 ceasefires & they wouldn't even stop for those few hours. As soon as the palestinians want a normal life & stop firing rockets the war is over.
