You sure they're not operated by AC?
Yes it is indeed operated by AC.
Was just curios to know why AC charges, while most carriers don't charge the heavy fees only on a return from Canada to the US.
Didn't mean it's a united flight, meant that united and AC are interchangeable when booking an award, they both display each other's awards.
With that being said, will search again for a UA operated flight on Aeroplan. It's either this 7.5K and around $55 taxes or a united 10/12.5K flight and work out the close in fee so only $5.60 in taxes. (Calculating the cost of flying from EWR which has gas and tolls to get there, might just make it worth flying from LGA/JFk and pay the taxes.)
It stinks that BA/AA has 0 award avlbty, they used to be amazing for this, and now last minute awards they're down in the dumps(Even tried all the routes I pulled up via HC and searched for those dates and Airports, but nothing doing). So far AC and UA take the cake for last minutes..
Unless SA(Saver Awards)are bookable with AC for a UA I see on UA?
