I think you should list the state, as I imagine that's an important part of what determines the cost.

take into account that some companies give you a hugh discount if you have the Car with them too.

Deductible makes a large difference as well. I am getting quotes now and the difference between 1,000 and 2,500 is huge.

When switching home insurance policies has anyone had trouble getting the first one to stop the auto-renewal? Besides for a written signed request they also want proof of replacement coverage. Why is it their business?

Do you know someone that made a claim with travelers that went smooth ? Officially it’s rated pretty much the lowest out of all the insurances from what I saw with a quick Google search.

Anecdotal obviously, but I had a claim for a fire with Allstate and they were very generous - I didn't even need to use my own adjuster and got everything from them I needed and more.
