I just noticed that you when you want to attached any file or picture to a Gmail eMail you don't need to use the "Attached A File" Link you can just click and drag the file and drop it underneath the "Subject Line".

if you have any good Gmail tips please post them here so we can improve our Gmail Skills!

forgot to point out: from my experience this is only going to work with Firefox not with IE (not sure about Crume)

why do you keep on talking about IE, you should of know that a pro is always using FF!

I find desktop notifications to be extremely useful. last I checked it only works in Chrome.

basically you get a little popup notification when you get an email or chat message

Desktop notification for Gmail has been around before Chrome existed

From the official Gmail blog:
"This functionality is currently only available for people using Google Chrome, but we’re working to make notifications part of the standard Web platform."
From gmail's help page:
"For now, these notifications are available only if you use Google Chrome as your browser."

maybe you're thinking of google notifier?

Pffft, outlook does too. We're talking about a notifier in the browser.

I am, but the way you described the desktops notifications I don't see what the difference between the two are

I've never used notifier so I'm not sure what it does, but for one thing, you need to be logged in in the browser for desktop notifications to work.
does notifier work in win vista/7? on the page in only says xp...

Another thing, I find priority inbox to be an absolute must-use. My inbox was an absolute disaster until they came out with that.
