if i want to apply for the 50k chase one pass and the 50k sapphire what should i do? is there anyway to make it only one hard hit on my report? will chase give me issues with multiple apps? thanks

I just got an offer from Chase for their Sapphire Preferred card with a signup bonus of 50000 points, and an additional 30000 if i spend $3000 in the first 3 months. Is this a worthwhile card to have, and what can i do with the points? Thanks!

If it's a recent application, maybe try getting them to match this one.

They recently told me 30 days from approval (date account opened), only one new card per 30 days. Since that's clearly not the case(other people's experiences prove otherwise), I'd say YMMV.

hmmm. i was recently approved for the CO 50k and for the BA but without the 100k bonus. (total 20k line) there's no way they'll approve another card (as it is i had to push the CO through recon). i was going to shut the BA. now i figure i should wait.
is there any way they'll 'convert' my BA to this new app?
or do i have to apply, get declined, then have recon convert it?

I just tried my first multiple browser method to apply for this and the CO OP 50k but I may have messed up.  There was one line of info missing from my Sapphire app and the CO app went thru but this one didnt get actually sent for about 20 seconds as I had to put in the info and then click apply again.  I was instantly approved for the CO but will be considered for Sapphire.  I am wondering if they will have used one pull or two because of the delay.  Anyone ever have a similar experience? About how close together do they have to be to get only one pull?

I did the BA and fumbled the UA card only submitted it 45 seconds later . Still only got one pull.

 However I couldn't get the UA approved only the BA. I don't think it was the pause , it was rejected because of too many inquiries. They told me to call back 30 days from approval of the BA and they should be able to get the UA approved

similar story happened to me also only one pull.
Try calling back after the ba clears and use the ua reference number, maybe you could push it through by cancelling older cards

Did it , offered to split shut credit cards to no avail. Granted my wife did have 5 inquiries in the last 2 months. Not sure why they told her to call back after 30 days then she's less of a credit risk.

didn't try yet I still haven't gotten the ba card it only appeared in my online account today
