Here's the story. On the application I wrote one year so when they called me up I told them I have not yet filed taxes this year. I was put on  hold and when she came back she said that instead they will be requiring 2 bank statements and a tax extention form.

 I called the rep back and told her that after speaking with my biz advisors I realized that I may not end up filing taxes at all, so what should I do about the extension if there is none. She then made it seem to me like the important thing is the bank statements and that it does not need to be specifically the last two months.

My question is as follows I have two checking accounts one a 360 account that was dedicated to rc/serve with five k in and out every month my second account has a revolving balance of less than that but is more diverse which account should I use (I would assume the answer is number two)

My second question is that I would rather not risk my account being closed as opposed to Me closing it myself is there a chance that I can submit the statements and tell the rep this is all I have for now, please try and make this work... If it won't work please call me back and I'll see if I can get you the tax extention... In which case obviously I would preemptively shut down my account.

Any help would be appreciated thanks for all your help in the past.

5k but he had a 15k balance from the previous statement

About 1-2 weeks ago I called Amex, got routed to FR and they updated some info of mine including income and some contact info and since then everything seems normal. I can use the cards no problem.

During that time I tried to add my wife as AU (twice) and both times I got a letter in response that they cannot add her at this time. Upon calling with the ref # they said they can only tell her the reason.
She got on the phone and they told her she defaulted on one of her accounts. She asked which acct, and they said, true, we don't see anything negative, you need to call custserv and notate that the acct is in good standing. (meantime other AU's I had no problem adding)

Today I called custserv for her acct and went straight to FR dept, they asked same info as they had asked me a few weeks ago.
After updating info, subsequent calls went to FR and upon me asking why is the call still being routed to them they said it's not fully "closed out" I guess that's referring to the review..

Anyone experience this? Is this the famous "mini FR" from which, if you come out, you only come out stronger?

Want to do AOR for wife this week, including Amex. Any and all input is appreciated.

Mini FR's usually close out right away so your story sounds a bit strange, like a special case.
