Selling 3 certificates
Category 1-4
Globalist Account
$140 ea OBO

Free breakfast, parking, room upgrade, suite upgrade if available plus all other globalist benefits. Pm me (nbuti) if interested.

Also got suite upgrades and can book your stay with points or cash but not GOH

There are two different types of hyatt nights. Sign Up Nights (referred to as "SUN"s) and anniversary nights. The sign up nights are from when you sign up for the hyatt credit card. The anniversary night are given to you if you keep the credit card after the first year. You get one anniversary night every year. The sign up nights can be used for any hyatt hotel in the world on any date where a Standard Room is available. The anniversary nights can only be used in hyatt hotels categories 1-4 (Notable category 4 hyatt hotels: Hyatt regency mission bay, San Diego Ca. Andaz peninsula papagayo, Costa Rico.). Obviously the sign up nights are more valuable as they can be used in any hotel worldwide. The way somebody would book this night for you is they would put you as a second guest on the reservation. It is not recommended to combine nights between 3 different accounts or more. Or 2 accounts that none is yours. Obviously any reservation from a diamond account is more valuable since you will get the benefits as a second guest.

Suite Upgrades:

Can be applied to any reservation whether cash, C &P or all points. It must be booked out of the Globalist Account. The Globalist must be the primary on the reservation as well. One DSU (They are actually called TSUs now) works for up to 7 days on a consecutive reservation for the base suite only. Before asking to buy one please check and make sure that the standard suite is available online to save everyone time. When you click on the suite description it will say if the suite is standard or premium if it is standard you can use the TSU if not, you cannot.

Select premium suites can now be booked for double points per night as well.

TSUs cannot be applied to free night certificates for some reason.

Some sellers prefer not to sell TSUs for international reservations as international Hyatts are well know for asking for the account holder to show up in order to give Globalist benefits. Maybe we should make a list of international hotels that are ok with it but that is a YMMV

Other benefits you receive when using a TSU: Free Breakfast for 2 adults and 2 children, 4 PM late checkout, no resort fees on any stay and free parking on award stays only

Per forum rules both buyers and sellers must post a price ftp://

???

Saver2000 was implying that you were offering to be the broker between MnM1330 (the buyer) and MnM1330 (the seller).

I've got a 3 regular (1 is only cat4) and 2 suites... for the right price I'd part with them. :) But really I am planning on using them some time.

Howdy everyone!
From the Chase Hyatt card earlier this year I earned 6 free nights in any Hyatt property, anywhere in the world with no black-out dates.  I used 2 of them.  The other 4 will expire on 2/29/2012 (Leap Day!).

Does anyone know a good venue to sell them?  I prefer trading them for $ than using them.
I know I can book any name in those rooms but what would be a good source to find someone who would buy them?

Thanks! :)

Still available?

Does anyone know if these only need to be booked by 2/29/12?

If my award night expires on 1/31/12, does that mean that I have to use it for a Hyatt stay by 1/31, or can I book before 1/31 for a stay after 1/31?

thanks
PUTPAC, but my guess is YMMV.

OT, how do qoute a post within a post like you did above?

You can nestle the quote tags, as follows:

[qoute ]    << Begin quote 1
[quote ]    << Begin quote 2
first quote test
[/quote ]   << End quote 1
second quote text
[/quote ]   << End quote 2

note, for the quote tag to work you should remove the space between the e of quote and the closing bracket ]

I believe your end quote 1 and 2 should be switched

Correct, but really, it's the same difference (since they're an identical tag.

I spoke to 2 Hyatt CSRs. Both of them told me that the free award nights from the credit card promo must be used (not booked) by the expiration date. Also, if you try to book online using your free award night, the system will not allow you to book beyond the expiration date.

I have 2 Hyatt / Andaz / Park Hyatt, etc nights available.
« Reply #49 on: January 15, 2012, 02:11:43 PM »
These are from the Chase credit card sign-up last year.

I have 2 nights still available.
Must be used by 2/29/12 (not reserved but used)
These are non-transferable but...I've sold them before & haven't had a problem.
I add the guests name to the reservation for early check-in & all is good.
Thanks! :)

To use a Suite Upgrade Award, the reservation needs to be booked under the account that was granted the award. So you can try to cancel and re-reserve under that account. Unless you're trying to use status / earn miles from one account and use the upgrade from another, which won't work.

But note that this thread is about Free Night Awards, not the suite upgrades.

When I call to book my 2 free nights (from CC bonus )  for someone else Hyatt told me that only point reservations can be booked for someone else but not the 2 free nights. Is this true? I don't want to book someone else and then have problems when they try checking in.

Book it for yourself and add them to the reservation.

Is that known to work? And they can check-in without me?

To both your questions: Reportedly yes (I have no experience with this).

Here's some advice from 2 experiences:  These Chase Award Nights are NOT transferable.  The T&C's are very clear about that.  In DEC 2011 I booked 2 nights in NYC with my Chase Award Nights for me & added my friend who would be arriving before me to the reservation.  I never showed up & the front desk never asked for my ID.  My friend checked-in, presented his credit card & all was good.  Last week I booked 2 nights for a friend in LA with his name added as a guest who would arriv earlier.  Luckily I was in the area because the hotel insisted on ID of Award Night awardee.  So I was able to present my ID while they swiped his credit card.  It can go either way depending on how astute the front desk folks are....IMHO.
